This is a texture roller and terrain set for making bases, tiles and terrain for the industrial mechanised surface of Mars.

A world where industrial mechanised forges and pipelines meet rocky sands on the harsh red planet

This month’s set takes you to the barren and harsh surface of the Red Planet, coated in the industry of a world focused only on the pursuit of technological production.

The terrain set this month allows you to build a vast modular interlocking pipeline that can expand as far as you want. You can use it to coat an entire game board in an industrial labyrinth!

The texture rollers in this set are made with two clear purposes. The first of these is to make bases for armies using the 'Mars Surface' and 'Mars Pipeline' rollers. Between these two, you can easily base an entire army, giving a good variety of matching bases. The second use is to be able to use the 'Industrial Platform' and 'Industrial Walkway' rollers to build a network of passages and platforms. These can either be used on the ground as tiles, or if you add supports, it can be a vast network of raised platforms.

Texture Rollers:

Industrial Platform

This roller was designed with making industrial platforms of varying sizes in mind. Depending on where you cut the clay after rolling the pattern out, you can make a good number of different-sized platforms. The idea behind them is to be able to use them as tiles on a table or to be able to use a can of soda/beer as a support beam to go under them to make a system of platforms.

Industrial Walkway

This roller is made to work in unison with the 'Industrial Platform' roller. You can make different widths and lengths of walkways to go between the industrial platforms. Both of these rollers will also make some great sci-fi bases.

Mars Surface

This is the most general-purpose roller in the set as it has no metal or sci-fi elements. This means it can be used to make bases for all game types and genres. The design is made to mimic the surface of Mars but would also work for sandy terrain here on Earth.

Mars Pipeline

This roller is made with basing of sci-fi armies in mind. It has the sandy and rocky dunes of Mars but with industrial pipelines running through and under the dunes. This means when you use the base cutters, you can get great snippets of the scenes for bases with different sections of pipes to add good details to bases.

Support Beam Wall

This roller is made to produce support beams for the platforms and walkways. It was designed with the idea of the design wrapping around a can to make highly detailed support beams. The design has crossbracing and cables, so it should fit this roll perfectly.

Terrain:

Industrial Pipe Network

This 12-piece set gives you everything you need to configure your network exactly the way you want. With ground-supported pipe sections, elbows, three- and four-way connectors, plus multiple end caps and adapters, you'll have plenty of options to route your system across the battlefield without hitting a dead end.

Industrial Walkway and Ramp System

Designed to work hand in hand with the pipe network, this simple but effective system can transform your play area with ease. Its simplicity is its strength, with just three pieces that allow you to expand in any direction, maneuver over pipes, and add plenty of verticality and tactical movement to your games.

Industrial Chimney Hub

Featuring a front port that connects directly to your pipe network, these can be more than just another piece of cover. They make excellent objectives, industrial control points, or strategic battlefield features in your warzones. The bottom hub can be used on its own and capped with an end cap from the pipe system for a shorter silhouette, or you can add the smoke stack if you're looking for more vertical appeal.

Add-ons:

Ladder for Platform

This ladder is made to be used to add a ladder detail to raised platforms made with the roller set. It is made to be the same length as a can of soda so that you can easily use cans as the support beams for the rolled-out platforms and walkways.
