Hey Miniature Makers!

This month, we take you to an abandoned nuclear facility, where signs of a once thriving complex now sit in haunting ruins, untouched. From overgrown and industrial texture rollers to massive nuclear cooling towers and high-security scatter to bring your table to life, this set will get you ready for post-apocalyptic and modern scenarios.

Texture Rollers

-Overgrown Cracked Concrete: This is an extremely detailed texture showing an industrial concrete floor that has been broken by the passing of time, as weeds and plants grow, cracking it apart. The perfect texture for the ground of an abandoned site. It will also make some very good bases as the colour you can add to the plants will give life to the grey concrete.

-Broken Ceramic Tiles: This roller will work amazingly for the floors of commercial and residential buildings and ruins within a containment zone. I tried to make a good variety of cracked, missing, broken, and undamaged tiles so that it looks realistic. Again, this should make some nice bases.

Warehouse Wall: This wall texture is made to have everything you need for warehouse and storage structures. It will work to make some very easy terrain, as you can just wrap a cardboard box with it, then attach the printable corner pieces and you can turn any box that is roughly 8-10cm tall into terrain. The corner pieces are to make the corners look really neat and give the terrain a nice upgrade. There is also a cutter to cut doors into the texture.

Industrial Site: This is a floor for inside warehousing or for lanes between buildings. It has a variety of damaged metal and concrete designs on the roller, so it should make for some interesting bases as well. I made the hazard stripes very easy to paint as they don't reach the edges of the strip.

Cracked Road: This is a very general-purpose roller for shattered asphalt, but this time in an area without any weeds or plant life. It can be used inside or outside of the factory and site buildings.

Concrete Panels: This wall texture is made up of prefab concrete slabs and will work for pretty much any concrete structure or wall you wish to build. I made it look worn and aged to go with the theme of the set.

Terrain

Nuclear Cooling Towers: Wouldn’t be much of a nuclear facility without some cooling towers, now would it? These pieces convey the setting in an instant! The FDM-printable version is about 7.5 inches at the base and nearly 8 inches tall, perfect centerpieces for your next power plant board or objective. The resin version is scaled to 60% for smaller build volumes and easier placement/painting. We made damaged and non-damaged versions so you can mix and match, either standard containment or catastrophic breach!

Industrial Security Fence: This 4-piece set of high-security chain-link fence offers a quick way to secure the perimeter and add additional cover and line-of-sight blockers to your setup. Use them to cage in smaller areas like power stations and storage yards, or ring your entire compound. The top of each fence has pass-through holes so you can string wire or thread for a convincing barbed wire look that takes your security to the next level.

Abandoned Playground: This 3-piece set is a quintessential part of imagery in abandoned nuclear towns, so we had to include it. It features a rusted slide, swing set, and merry-go-round (roundabout) that have all seen better days. Now they sit silent and overgrown, perfect for grim narrative moments.

Industrial Security Signs: Adding signage is one of the best ways to sell the theme and add an extra layer of immersion. This 14-piece sign set gives you a wide selection to add to walls, fences, doors, and props wherever needed.
